Emergency Response System
An electronic device is installed in a client's home so that the client can communicate, in case of an emergency, with a centre staffed 24 hours a day that can call on emergency help.
Worn as a necklace or bracelet, this service offers help at the push of a button. In an emergency situation, one simply presses the personal help button and this sends a signal to the Emergency Response Centre. Trained staff, who have access to one's vital medical information, immediately speak to the person and send help. A responder is also called and helps the Response Centre determine the appropriate help required.
People Served: Anyone at a medical or social risk.
