Goldcorp brings Ultrasound Campaign past 50%

The latest donor to step forward in Chapleau's campaign for better ultrasounds is Goldcorp Inc. The mining company, known locally for the Borden Gold project, has donated $10,000 to the Hospital Foundation to help pay for the Chapleau's new ultrasound machine.
Since arriving in our area last spring Goldcorp has been a loyal donor to the Chapleau General Hospital Foundation. This latest gift has special significance since it brings the campaign total past the halfway point to 53% of the $100,000 goal.
"Goldcorp is now a leader in the local campaign for higher quality ultrasounds. Their investment of $10,000 will see great returns as friends, family, and neighbours in our area become better informed on their health through access to more advanced ultrasound technology. We are truly grateful for this generous act." said Gail Bignucolo, former CEO of Services de santé de Chapleau Health Services.
Our goal is to have the new machine fully funded by December 2016. For more information on the campaign or how to donate please call 705-864-3053, email foundation@sschs.ca, or go to www.sschs.ca and follow the links.
